Justin and Hailey Bieber are determined to strain every nerve to save their marriage in the wake of a challenging few years.
The childhood pals recently celebrated their five-year wedding anniversary after tying the knot in a dreamy ceremony following a few months of whirlwind romance in 2018.
However, a source told Life & Style that the couple is no stranger to marital issues, owing to their stark differences in personalities clashing with variable future plans.
They said, “Their marriage isn’t in a good place and they know it. Loved ones are telling them things will get better, but Hailey and Justin aren’t convinced.”
“They got married so young and weren’t emotionally equipped to deal with all the problems that came their way,” the explained.
The insider claimed that their problems are fueled by the Baby singer’s desire to become a father and Hailey’s reluctance to go through with it.
“Justin’s been begging Hailey to make him a dad,” they revealed. “It’s what he’s wanted for so long.”
“Hailey isn’t ready, there are still things she wants to do, and it’s frustrating for Justin. He wants to be a young dad,” the source explained, adding that the Rhode mogul’s reluctance is stemmed from Justin’s childish behaviour.
The source also shared that the pair has resorted to couple’s counseling to iron out their differences, noting: “It’s been a struggle but Justin and Hailey both want to make this work.”
“They just need to get back to that place where they’re in love again.”
