Woman found shot to death on Colonial Avenue, Dallas Police investigating

Authorities are on the lookout for a suspect following the discovery of a deceased woman with gunshot wounds at a residence in a Dallas neighborhood early Saturday.

Upon receiving reports of a shooting, the Dallas Police Department dispatched officers to a residence situated in the 4300 block of Colonial Avenue.

Upon arrival, law enforcement found a woman who had sustained gunshot injuries. Despite the efforts of first responders to render aid, the woman succumbed to her injuries at the scene.

The victim’s identity has not been disclosed, and the police department has not provided any information regarding the suspect involved.
