Suspect wanted after 14-year-old shot during argument in southwest Houston, HPD says

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — The Houston Police Department is actively searching for the individual responsible for shooting a 14-year-old boy in southwest Houston on Sunday, leaving him in critical condition.

The shooting occurred around 7:30 p.m. at an apartment complex on Glenmont Drive near Rampart Street.

Officers responded to the scene and found the teenage victim suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to the hospital in critical condition.

Investigators reported that the shooting resulted from a disturbance between the teen and the suspect in the complex’s courtyard. The suspect fled the scene after the incident.

Police have not yet provided a description of the suspect, and the investigation is ongoing.
