Bruce Willis find comfort in ‘sweet’ blessing as dementia battle continues

Bruce Willis has been pulling through his deteriorating health with his head risen, surrounded by his loved ones.

In a conversation with host Hoda Kotb at the TODAY show, the former actor’s oldest daughter, Rumer Willis, offered an optimistic update on his health.

The 35-year-old musician stopped by the outlet to discuss her upcoming residency at New York City’s Café Carlyle.

She also gave an insight on Bruce’s growing bond with daughter Louetta, whom she welcomed with husband Derek Richard Thomas last year.

“He’s so good,” Rumer shared. “I actually got to see him right before I came out (to New York). And Lou is just starting to walk a little bit, and she was walking over to him, and it was so sweet.”

“It’s so nice because I feel like my dad is just like — he’s a girl dad, through and through,” she continued. “It almost unlocks that kind of little-kid, girl-dad thing. He’s so sweet with her.”

For the unversed, the Die Hard actor was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia, which is a degenerative disease that primarily affects communication and behavior.
