10-year-old boy rushed to hospital after shooting on Houston’s southside, police say

Emergency responders swiftly transported a 10-year-old boy to the hospital following a shooting incident on Houston’s south side, as reported by the Houston Police Department.

The incident occurred in the 7100 block of Scott Street in the Greater Old Spanish Trail/South Union neighborhood. The child was stabilized by first responders before being taken to the hospital.

Initial reports indicated a shooting or firearm discharge at a gas station, prompting a call to the Houston Fire Station 46 for EMS transport related to the shooting.
