The annual State Fair of Texas has unveiled its 2024 lineup of free entertainment activities. Spanning 24 days, the events, including concerts and car shows, are accessible with a general admission ticket to the fair.

New performances are set to debut on the Fringe Stage this year, with the Billy Kidd close-up magician act joining returning favorites Mighty Mike, Sara Twister, and Street Circus.

The Chevrolet Main Stage will feature headlining performances from Jo Dee Messina, Bowling for Soup, Dasha, Jesse & Joy, and the Commodores. Additionally, the Yuengling Flight Stage will present live stand-up comedy with Deep Fried Comedy on Friday nights at 8 p.m.

Cirque du Soleil and Universal Music Group Nashville are collaborating on a new show, Songblazers, which will pay tribute to legendary and contemporary country music pioneers through acrobatic and live musical performances. Presented in partnership with Broadway Dallas and the State Fair of Texas, Songblazers will be held at the Music Hall at Fair Park for 33 performances from Sept. 25 to Oct. 20.

In addition to musical entertainment, the Hall of State building will showcase spectacles such as Guinness World Record-holder Bryan Berg demonstrating his card-stacking skills. The north wing will feature the Texana Collection, highlighting selections from pre-Colonial Spanish Texas through the Revolution.

The State Fair of Texas Rodeo is returning to the historic Fair Park Coliseum for its third year, open every weekend of the fair from Monday through Sunday.

Other notable events include the 95th annual Cotton Bowl Football Game, The Mattress Firm’s Illumination Sensation, The Pint-Sized Parade, The Texas Pig Races, and Cowboy Trey.
