King Charles’ empathetic gesture overshadows Harry, Meghan’s new strategy

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been criticised for making irrelevant announcements which often coincide with the royal family’s important events.

Royal commentator Jennie Bond told OK! magazine that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are getting ‘irrelevant’ day by day, however, the senior members of the royal family are not in the race with the former working royals and have been busy making empathetic gestures towards people in need.

It is pertinent to mention that Meghan recently introduced new products for her lifestyle brand American Riviera Orchard just before Kate Middleton’s comeback at Trooping the Colour parade amid her cancer treatment.

Not only that, the former Suits actress announced her new business venture just before Prince William’s speech in honour of his late mother Princess Diana.

The former BBC royal correspondent said, “I can’t honestly imagine that they are sitting there scheming to make announcements on the same day as a royal event. Surely they are bigger than that?”

Jennie added, “…But I think they are becoming less and less relevant to the news over here, and the Royal Family will command the attention every time.”

Moreover, the royal expert lauded the Monarch’s meaningful gesture towards Lady Gabriella Kingston on the first day of Royal Ascot, which overshadowed Harry and Meghan’s new strategy.

She said, “The death of Gabriella’s husband shocked the whole family, and I’m sure they have all tried to help in what is a deeply sensitive situation. But what a lovely gesture by the King to invite her into the carriage – and on the first day of Royal Ascot.”
