“I want to look like Ivanka Trump,” Houston resident Sarah Schmidt told Inside Edition before undergoing a total of nine surgical procedures, with a price tag of more than $20,000, on September 14.
To perform the surgery, the 34-year-old technology analyst enlisted Houston cosmetic surgeon Dr. Franklin A. Rose, who is no stranger to the spotlight.

Not only did his daughter Erica Rose appear as a contestant on ABC’s reality TV series, “The Bachelor,” but his roster of high profile clients includes Claudia Sierra, whose appearance was transformed to resemble First Lady Melania Trump, and Lady Walker, the late J. Howard Marshall’s lover before he moved on to Anna Nicole Smith, whose face and body were enhanced.

Rose also performed a three-hour surgery involving five procedures on Ashley Horn, who shares the same father as actress Lindsay Lohan, to make her look more like her famous half-sister.
In 2016, Rose performed surgery on Houston mother of two, Jenny Stuart, then 36 years-old, who wanted to bear a resemblance to none other than … Ivanka Trump. Accompanying her to the office visits to see Dr. Rose was her friend, Sarah Schmidt.
The Houston Chronicle spoke with Sarah Schmidt and Dr. Franklin A. Rose in two separate phone calls on Wednesday for more details about Schmidt’s surgical procedures.
“The whole thing happened organically,” Dr. Rose tells the Houston Chronicle of his client’s request. “She would come with Jenny Stuart, and also wanted to look like Ivanka.”
Of her desire to resemble Donald Trump’s eldest daughter, Schmidt said, “Nothing about her political affiliations inspired me. It’s a 100 percent looks based. She is very pretty and I like her features.”
For Dr. Rose, the request to make someone look like a famous person is familiar territory.
“For years, people wanted to look like Jaclyn Smith, wanting her nose. Patients come in and want Jennifer Lopez’s buttocks. This has been going on since I’ve been in practice,” Rose said.

“They pull up an image, celebrity or not, on their cell phones and ask for what they want. Ivanka is very pretty and in the media, so it’s not uncommon that we get that request.”
Schmidt did just that, bringing a photo of Trump to her consultation to use as a guide. “I felt like I kind of looked like her anyway, and told him I really like her nose,” she said.
During the surgery, which took about four hours, Schmidt had a nose job, cheek contouring, lip filler, lipo under her chin, bra fat lipo, a Brazilian butt lift and lipo on her stomach, hips, and thighs.
Now, nearly eight weeks post surgery, Schmidt says she is recovering well.
“The first five days were brutal. I could barely get out of bed. It took about four weeks before I wasn’t in bad pain, although I am still a little swollen with slight pain,” she said.
Last Thursday, Schmidt’s family and friends gathered for a reveal party at Montrose’s Emmaline restaurant.
Erica Rose made the big introduction as Schmidt, wearing a long form-fitting gown, entered the room to cheers.
“Even with the swelling, there is a definitely a difference in how I look. My friends and family were all so positive and supportive,” she notes.
“I am thrilled with the results. Dr. Rose did an excellent job. All the pain was absolutely worth it.”
As for Dr. Rose, he is planning a “Meghan Markle Reveal” on ABC’s Nightline featuring two girls undergoing procedures to look like The Duchess of Sussex. Rose says the episode is set to air early next year.
