Charles Reid Rogers, 66, was arrested in February on a charge of continuous sexual abuse of a child under 14.

Rogers taught guitar lessons at Sounds Good School of Music on Forest Bend Drive in Arlington and has been a music instructor for about 20 years, police said. A phone number listed for Sounds Good has been disconnected.

A customer told police in January that he’d walked in on Rogers touching a girl inappropriately. When police found the child, who said Rogers had molested her during lessons for over a year, according to an arrest-warrant affidavit.

Rogers, who denied the abuse to police, was released from the Tarrant County jail after posting $35,000 bond.

Police ask that anyone with information about additional victims or information about the existing case contact Detective Trisha Walker at 817-795-9992, ext. 141 or trisha.walker@arlingtontx.gov.
