Fort Worth shooting leaves 1 in serious condition

A shooting left a man in serious condition early Wednesday in Fort Worth, officials said.

The incident took place about 2 a.m. on the northbound Loop 820 access road at Red Sierra Drive. Officers responding to a shooting call found a man wounded from a gunshot, police said.

The man was taken to a hospital in serious but stable condition. Police believe there was likely an altercation between the victim and two suspects which led to the shooting.

Fort Worth police are investigating the incident.
