Man fatally shoots son during dispute, Fort Worth police say

A 24-year-old man is dead after his father shot him during an argument Saturday afternoon in Fort Worth, police say.

Officers were called around 12:30 p.m. to a home in the 300 block of Coach House Circle, south of White Settlement Road and west of West Loop 820, police said.

The victim was taken to an area hospital where he died from his injuries, police said.

Detectives found that the father and son were engaged in a “domestic disturbance,” during which the father shot the son and then fled the scene, police said.
