Two people were wounded Sunday in a shooting in a parking garage at the North East Mall in Hurst, police say.
Officers were called about 1:45 p.m. to the second floor of one of the parking garages at the mall.
One victim was taken to a hospital with multiple wounds, details about the person’s condition were not available. A bystander who was struck by shrapnel also received medical treatment, officials said.
The suspect, who was believed to be approaching people to rob them, was taken into custody, officials said.
The names of the victims and the suspect were not released.
