Ex-national TT coach dies

LAHORE: National table tennis coach Saba Waris has died after a bypass surgery at a local hospital here on Sunday.

Saba, 68, had coached a good number of table tennis stars who performed for different departments while also representing Pakistan and the Punjab Sports Board.

Saba’s surgery was conducted on Saturday from where he was shifted to the ICU where he breathed his last.

He was buried at a local graveyard on Sunday.
