Brief morning rain, then sunshine returns today

As a cold front moves through a line of thunderstorms is moving through North Texas. The main threat with any strong storms is marginally severe hail and perhaps damaging wind gusts. Locally heavy rain is possible, but widespread severe weather is not expected.

As the system moves east, Monday will bring clearing skies, with sunshine and highs in the upper 60s. Another cold front will move through the region on Wednesday, dropping temperatures back into the 50s, with temperatures dropping below freezing Wednesday night into early Thursday morning.
