Chilly start, then warming up nicely today

Coming off a gorgeous weekend, sunshine will fill North Texas skies again today. Temperatures will be mild with afternoon highs in the mid to upper 60s. Warmer weather is in store for Tuesday with highs in the 70s.

A cool-down is on schedule for the second half of the week with rain chances as well. Rain chances will be in the forecast for several days late in the week. The weekend will feature mild conditions with a chance of rain and possibly thunderstorms.
