New Zealand reaches Islamabad Airport, will depart at 6 pm today

Islamabad: New Zealand men’s cricket team have reached Islamabad Airport under presidential security as they prepare to leave Pakistan after unilaterally postponing Pakistan tour on a security alert.

According to details, Blackcaps has been seated in the guest lounge and they underwent mandatory PCR tests. They will depart to New Zealand via UAE through charter flight at 6 pm PST.

Remember, the tourists moments before the start of the ODI series tomorrow postponed the series after an escalation in threat levels in New Zealand government and the advice of security advisors.

They were visiting Pakistan for the first time in 18 years and were due to play three ODIs and five T20Is in Rawalpindi and Lahore.
