Man threatened woman with gun during sexual assault, Fort Worth police say

A 24-year-old man is behind bars after Fort Worth police say he threatened a woman with a gun and sexually assaulted her.

Caylon Washington faces a charge of aggravated sexual assault. It’s unclear whether he has an attorney.

The assault happened June 27 in the 900 block of Foch Street. The woman did not know Washington prior to the incident, police said.

Police did not provide any details about the nature of the assault or Washington’s arrest, citing the ongoing investigation.

While investigators don’t believe Washington is connected to any other assaults, the details of the incident have been entered into a national FBI database as a precaution, police said.

Washington is being held in the Tarrant County jail with bail set at $75,000.
