Showery and unsettled weather

A cold front will drop slowly through the northern half of North Texas Tuesday night. This will enhance the chance of showers and perhaps a thunderstorm from DFW and points north. This front will also separate cooler air to the north, from much milder air south of DFW on Wednesday. Highs will range from the 50s north of DFW to the 70s to the south.

The front will dissipate by Thursday leaving highs mostly in the low 70s along with a continued chance of showers. Dry weather returns for Friday, followed by another good chance of rain for Saturday.

Sunday will feature plenty of clouds and a low chance of a shower or two but it does not look like a washout for the Dallas Marathon. Sunday highs will be in the mid 60s.
