HPD investigating shooting that injured 1 person in NW Houston on Easter Street

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — The Houston Police Department is investigating a shooting in which one person was reportedly shot on Monday evening on the city’s northwest side.

Officials said officers with HPD responded to 6900 Easter Street in response to a shooting call that came in at about 8:28 p.m.

When officers arrived, they learned that a man was shot in another location before stumbling to the nearest corner store and asking for help, HPD said.

Police did talk to the victim but have confirmed that he is not cooperating with the investigation.

He was taken to the hospital in fair condition, HPD said.
