Storms ending, then a dry weekend for North Texas

A cold front is in the process of moving through North Texas. This front will generate a few thunderstorms this evening from DFW and points south and east. A few severe storms are possible, but the threat will end by mid evening. Following the cold front, blustery and cool weather will be in store overnight.

Some showers may redevelop overnight, but the weekend looks dry. Saturday will be quite blustery and cool with highs in the upper 60s and a strong north wind. Sunshine will gradually return Saturday afternoon. Sunday will be much nicer with full sunshine and highs in the upper 70s.
