LAHORE: Pakistan will play Test matches in Galle and Colombo during their two-game series in Sri Lanka next month.
According to the schedule of the series announced by Sri Lanka Cricket on Tuesday, the first Test starts at the Galle International Cricket Stadium on July 16 and then the two teams will travel to Colombo where the second Test will be staged at the Singhalese Sports Club from July 24-28.
For this series which will be Pakistan’s first assignment in the 2023-25 ICC World Test Championship cycle, the Babar Azam-led side will arrive in Sri Lanka on July 9 and play a two-day warm-up from July 11. The venue for the warm-up will be confirmed in a while.
Pakistan last toured Sri Lanka in July 2022 when a two-match Test series resulted in a 1-1 stalemate.
