Toddler killed after being hit by rideshare driver in N. Harris County: HCSO

In Harris County, Texas, a tragic incident occurred on Sunday resulting in the death of a baby girl who was struck by a rideshare driver. The Harris County Sheriff’s Office reported that the incident took place in the 15500 block of Waverly Drive while the driver was dropping off a family with a toddler.

According to deputies, the driver accidentally hit the toddler without realizing she was in front of the car. Immediately following the accident, family members pulled the driver out of the vehicle and began to assault him.

The driver sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was subsequently hospitalized. Meanwhile, the toddler was rushed to the hospital in critical condition but sadly succumbed to her injuries later on.
