Victim of stabbing in Fort Worth wakes up in field, investigation underway

Fort Worth police are actively seeking a suspect after a man reported waking up in a field with multiple stab wounds early Monday morning, following an incident where he accepted a ride from an unknown individual.

Authorities responded to the 1500 block of Langston Street around 8 a.m. on July 1st after receiving a call about a cutting incident.

Upon arrival, officers found the man who explained that he had been at a saloon and accepted a ride from an unidentified person. The victim recounted waking up in a field and discovering stab wounds, prompting him to call for help. He was subsequently transported to a local hospital and is expected to recover.

Police have indicated that there are no descriptions of the suspects at this time, and no arrests have been made. They suspect the incident may be linked to a domestic dispute and are actively investigating the circumstances.
