Woman found slain in Far East Dallas street, police say

A woman was killed and her body was left in a Far East Dallas street Saturday morning, police said.

Officers responded to a shooting call just before 7 a.m. in the 7200 block of Valley Glen Drive, where they found the woman lying face down in the street.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene from “homicidal violence,” but police didn’t say if she was shot.  She was not identified.
