Off-duty officer hit while directing traffic in Galleria area

An off-duty officer was hit by a vehicle while working an extra job directing traffic in the Galleria area, said Houston Police. The officer was clipped by a vehicle while stopping traffic at Richmond Avenue and Post Oak Boulevard. He was taken to Southwest Memorial Hospital for minor injuries and is in good condition.
