Pakistan signed up for $10.5bn foreign loan in FY20

ISLAMABAD: The PTI government contracted $10.447 billion worth of new foreign loans from multilateral institutions and commercial banks during the fiscal year 2019-20, almost one-fourth higher than previous year’s $8.4bn. July-Oct domestic debt rises 2.8pc

KARACHI: The central government debt increased by Rs652 billion (2.8 per cent) to Rs23.934 trillion by the end of October compared to Rs23.282tr in June earlier this year, latest data released by the State Bank of Pakistan showed on Friday.
