A new restaurant is bringing Mexico-style, wood-fired rotisserie chickens to Irving

Chicken Pullita is bringing its wood-fired rotisserie birds to Irving. The North Texas fast-casual chain opened a new spot this month on Airport Freeway in a former Taco Bueno, which closed in December 2018. Dallas County reports 2 COVID-19 deaths, 139 more cases; Denton County adds 3 deaths

Dallas County reported two more COVID-19 deaths and 139 new coronavirus cases Wednesday. The latest victims were a Dallas man in his 60s and a Duncanville man in his 50s. Both had underlying high-risk health conditions.The county reported four cases of “variants of concern,” all in people who were not vaccinated. One person was fatally shot Wednesday evening outside of Hurricane Harbor water park in Arlington, police said. 3 Dallas men sentenced for 2017 attacks on gay men who were lured via Grindr app

Three Dallas men who pleaded guilty in 2019 to kidnapping, attacking and robbing gay men by luring them through the Grindr social networking app were sentenced to prison Wednesday.
