ISLAMABAD: The Senate St­­a­­nding Committee on Par­lia­me­n­tary Affairs has approved an am­­endment to the Elections Act, 2017 removing the word ‘Fede­rally Administered Tribal Areas (Fata)’ from the law, according to a handout from Senate.
