3-year-old shot himself in the eye in Katy

A 3-year-old accidentally shot himself in Katy Friday night, according to the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office.

The child, who shot himself in the 28200 block of South Firethorne Road, was taken to a nearby hospital by LifeFlight, the office tweeted around 8 p.m.

KHOU 11 has reported that the child shot himself in the eye.
