Man found fatally shot in car in east Oak Cliff, Dallas police say

A 57-year-old man was found fatally shot Saturday night in the driver’s seat of a car in east Oak Cliff, Dallas police say.

Officers were called about 9:10 p.m. to South Beckley Avenue and West Clarendon Drive, near Interstate 35E, where they found Kenneth Jerome Hamilton wounded. He died at a hospital.

No one has been arrested in connection with his death, police said.

On Monday, police said a blacked-out 2005-07 Chevy Tahoe was involved in the case and may also be linked to a second slaying that took place about half an hour earlier in the Stemmons Corridor.
