Man found dead from homicidal violence at strip mall in west Oak Cliff, Dallas police say

Dallas police are investigating after a man was found slain Friday morning in west Oak Cliff.

Officers were called about 8:40 a.m. to perform a welfare check at a strip mall in the 2100 block of Fort Worth Avenue, near North Hampton Road, where an unresponsive man was lying on the ground near an auto parts store.

Dallas Fire-Rescue pronounced the man dead from homicidal violence, police said.

The victim did not have identifying documents, and the Dallas County medical examiner’s office has not yet determined his identity.
