Very warm end to the weekend

Another Air Quality Alert has been issued for the DFW area again Sunday. Limit time outdoors if you have respiratory problems.

After a warm Saturday, expect more of the same Sunday afternoon with plenty of sunshine and low humidity. Southerly winds will be in the 10 to 20 mph range with gusts to 20 mph. The next few days will remain very warm with highs in the low 90s. We will also notice an increase in humidity by Monday afternoon.

It’s been fairly dry so far this September, but that will change in the coming days. The increasing humidity, together with an approaching upper-level storm system will bring the chance for a few spotty thunderstorms on Tuesday. And our rain chances will only increase through the end of the week.
