In May, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention announced that people fully vaccinated against COVID-19 didn’t need to wear face masks or social distance at outside gatherings of any size. On Aug. 11, Dallas County Judge Clay Jenkins announced masks will once again be mandatory in Dallas County schools, businesses and county buildings as COVID-19 delta variant cases continue to climb.
