Terrell police looking for murder suspect after 2 men found dead a mile apart

Terrell police are looking for a murder suspect after two men were found dead Saturday less than a mile apart.

The victims were both discovered about 6 p.m., one in the 300 block of West Cottage Street and the other in the 700 block of Frazier Street. Both had been shot.

Police are looking for 29-year-old Jermichael D. Maxie of Terrell, who is wanted for murder in connection with the two deaths.

Police identified the two victims Sunday morning as Kenneth Wayne White, Jr., 37, and Markiest Lucky, 25.

No details were released about how the shootings occurred, but investigators have determined the shootings are related, police said.
