Deputies searching for suspect who shot man near Melrose Park

A heavy police presence was reported near Melrose Park in north Houston Thursday afternoon after a man was shot, according to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies are in the area searching for the shooter. The shooting was reported in the 300 block of Carby Road. The victim’s condition is unclear.
