Garland police looking for revolver-toting man who robbed gas station

Garland police are looking for a man who robbed a gas station at gunpoint last month.

Police released surveillance footage Friday showing the man walking into the Texaco Food Mart in the 700 block of West Walnut Street, near Glenbrook Drive, around 7:30 p.m. June 21.

The man picked up some merchandise, then pulled out a dark-colored revolver and demanded money from a clerk, police said. He ran off before police arrived.

Police described the robber as a black man with a muscular build, short black hair and a goatee. He was wearing a black tank top, faded and ripped blue jeans and white and black shoes. He has multiple tattoos on his arms and shoulders.

Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call police at 972-485-4840.
