Hum TV hosted Mega hit star studded and colorful “Kashmir Hum Award 2019” at NRG Arena in Houston

Houston: The popular Pakistani TV channel Hum TV hosted star studded and colorful “Kashmir Hum Award 2019” at NRG Arena in Houston. The ceremony which was participated by glittering stars of top TV performers in Pakistan was a mega hit program ever seen in Houston by
Pakistani community.
The red-carpet ceremony where many stars came to participate from Pakistan was staged at large NRG stadium in Houston. Top stars performed live in front of camera and their fans in audience. The red-carpet ceremony became a never forgetting event where hundreds of fans personally met with their beloved stars and made selfies with them.
More than eight thousand of TV fans converged to NRG stadium and packed the whole stadium. The event which was in preparation since last July had many university students who served as volunteers for the program.
Top stars for this event included Javed Shaikh, Reema, Sara Khan, Asim Azhar, Adnan Siddiqui, Iqra Aziz, Zaid Ali Moro, Farhan Saeed, Arwa Boken, Mawra Boca, Aisha Umar, Kubra Khan, Bushra Ansari, Imran, Muneeb Butt, Kinza Hashmi, Musarrat Misbah, Meekal Zulfiqar, and Ali
Rahman The program started with US National Anthem with an impressive flag ceremony. This act was followed by Pakistani National Anthem. Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner and Pakistan Ambassador to US Dr. Asad Majeed Khan were also among guests along with host Sultana Siddiqui. The Sufi vocalist ‪Abida Parveen‬ forced the audience into trance and dance after the award ceremony. Famous pop singer Alamgir who was recipient of lifetime achievement award also performed with a song with no music and received accolades from audience.
Pakistan Ambassador Asad Majeed Khan acknowledged the Hum TV for introducing and presenting Pakistani culture world over. He said that Hum TV has served as Pakistan Ambassador internationally.
The event which had been in preparation since July where Hum TV USA in charge Fawad Azeem played the key role. Mr. Azeem had worked day and night for last four months to cover every detail of an excellent managed program in Houston. The event was also helped by a large number of local volunteers as well.
The event which was largely attended by women where after the fireworks legendary presidential award winner Mahwish Hayat along with Ahsan Khan and Asim Azhar entered the stage. Aisha Umar, Meeka Zulfiqar, Sanam and Ali Rahman jointly conducted the program where
Hania Umar also presented her full performance. All the artists presented colorful performances with a number of them wearing Kashmiri costumes and dresses. Adnan Siddiqui and few others were dressed in black.
Hum Kashmir Award for best director went to Kashaf Nisar, inspirational character award went to Noman Ajaz, best drama writer award went to Saima Ikram, best artist couple award went to Iqra Aziz and Farhan Saeed, best male actor award went to Tipu Shah and Yasir Hasan, best actress award to Nadia Afghan, Best villain character award to Noman Ajaz, while lifetime achievement award went to Alamgir.
The event ran till late at night which was thoroughly enjoyed by audience. Noman Ajaz came out as biggest and most popular artist as he received highest number of awards
