Man at large after stabbing homeless man in downtown Dallas, police say

A homeless man was wounded in a stabbing Wednesday night in downtown Dallas, police say.

Two men, both of whom are homeless, got into an argument about 8:40 p.m. in the 2000 block of Commerce Street, near South Harwood Street and Main Street Garden Park, police said.

During the altercation, one man reportedly stabbed the other.

Dallas Fire-Rescue took the victim to a local hospital. His condition was not available.

The man suspected of stabbing the victim had not been apprehended Wednesday night. A description of the man was not available.
