Police searching for suspect in brazen robbery at Post Oak Walgreens

Police are searching for an unknown suspect caught on store surveillance video brazenly robbing a Walgreens off Post Oak in south Houston last week.

The robbery took place around 9 a.m. Aug. 20 at the Walgreens located at 16244 South Post Oak. Store surveillance video shows the suspect approaching the front register and pretending to be making a purchase when he hands an employee money for some items.

After the employee opens the register, the suspect is seen reaching over the counter and emptying all of the cash from the register. The suspect then flees the store in an unknown direction.
