Warming trend begins

After several days of below normal temperatures, it has begun to warm up this weekend, and it will only get warmer next week. For now, the humidity remains relatively low, so it’s not too uncomfortable outside. But the humidity will be increasing during the week, along with the temperature. So it will definitely become more uncomfortable during the afternoons.

If you will be spending time outside, the best times will be early mornings and evenings. If you are out in the heat of the day, make sure you stay hydrated.

An Ozone Alert for Dallas-Fort Worth and the surrounding area will remain in effect through Sunday. Light winds and abundant sunshine will promote the development of ozone, which is a major pollutant in the lower atmosphere. People with respiratory issues should limit their time spent outside.
