Woman attacked by male dressed in black during early-morning jog in Frisco neighborhood

A woman escaped with minor injuries after she was attacked early Monday while jogging in a Frisco neighborhood.

The 54-year-old victim said someone dressed in black assaulted her about 6:20 a.m. as she ran by him in the 1500 block of Kingfisher Lane in the area of the Trails Parkway and Crockett Drive.

She said that he grabbed her and threw her to the ground but that she was able to escape to a nearby residence, where she called police.
