Woman finds friend shot to death in Houston’s East End, police say

Houston police are investigating a shooting that left a man dead in an East End neighborhood Tuesday.

Officers were called out to a home in the 7400 block of Satsuma Street around 12:30 p.m. for a reported shooting. A woman had called 911 saying that her friend had been shot, according to Houston Police Department spokesperson John Cannon

Paramedics with the Houston Fire Department rushed to the home and pronounced the man dead, according to police on scene.
