Police searching for masked shooters in southeast Houston

Police are looking for three men they say wore masks and shot a man outside an apartment complex in southeast Houston.

The incident took place Monday night around 9 p.m. in the 800 block of Broadway, where officers responded to a call about a person being shot, according to OnScene TV

Three men wearing masks walked up to a man, shot him once and fled the scene, , according to OnScene TV. The victim went into a nearby apartment complex where a resident called police.

Houston officers and firefighters responded to the call. When they arrived, they found that a man had been shot and a woman was injured, according to Onscene TV.

The pair were transported to the hospital, where it was later discovered that only the male had been shot, according to OnScene TV. The female had been injured in a fall, OnScene TV reported.

The suspects were last seen fleeing in a silver 2007 to 2014 model Chevy Impala, OnScene TV reported.

No other information about the suspects is known. Police are asking anyone with information to contact authorities.
