Identity released of transgender woman found dead along Katy Freeway in Houston

Houston police identified a person found dead last month along the Katy Freeway as a 22-year-old transgender woman, who died from multiple puncture wounds and lacerations.

The woman went by both Tracy Williams and Tracy Single, police said. Her death has been ruled a homicide.

The Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences said the woman’s given name at birth was Trevian Treshawn Delaney.  It’s unclear whether the woman lived in Houston.
