With temperatures blazing in the triple-digits, it’s hard to imagine anyone would be anxious about sitting in a blind at water’s edge or on a boat hunting waterfowl. However, the Trinity River National Wildlife Refuge is already accepting applications for a public waterfowl hunt with an approaching deadline of Sept. 3.
