Body found by creek near Spring in north Harris County

Harris County Sheriff’s detectives are investigating how a body ended up by a creek near Spring, officials tweeted.

Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said homicide detectives  and a crime scene unit were responding to the 4200 block of Treaschwig Road where the body was found near a creek

Harris County Precinct 4 Constable deputies said that a heavy police presence was at the scene and asked the public to avoid the area.

The case has been referred over to the homicide unit at the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, a spokesman for Harris County Precinct 4 Constable Mark Herman said.
