Frisco police identify man who died in one-vehicle crash

Frisco police are investigating the death of a driver who crashed late Friday into a creek just north of Preston Road and Eldorado Parkway.

Officers and the fire department were called to the crash scene around 10:45 p.m. Friday, police said. They found a vehicle upside down in the creek. Officers freed the man inside the vehicle and he was taken to a hospital where he died.

Police identified the man Wednesday as 30-year-old Ravi Shrestha of Humble. No one else was inside the vehicle.
