Man shot at in Fort Worth told police he thought he was mistaken for someone else

A man was left with minor injuries to his arm after he was shot at in Fort Worth, authorities said.

Officers were called about 8:30 p.m. Sunday to a Jack in the Box in the 4600 block of South Hulen Street. The victim was in the parking lot when several people drove up on motorcycles and started shooting at him, police said.

He told police he thought he was mistaken for someone else who had been driving recklessly in the area in a similar-looking vehicle.

The group of people who shot at the victim fled the scene, police said.

Police said the man’s arm injuries could have been caused by bullet fragments. It’s unclear if he was hospitalized.
