Warmer day ahead

Today is going to be warmer than yesterday with occasional high clouds and highs in the low 70s.

Monday will be the last warm day before a strong cold front pushes through the area late in the day with rain and cooler weather Monday evening through Tuesday morning. Temperatures will dip into the 30s early Tuesday morning. The potential for a rain/snow mix will be possible in parts of West Texas. Anyone traveling west of DFW should stay weather aware. Accumulations will be little to none, with impacts being minimal in areas that do see a wintry mix.

The rest of the week will be chilly but dry with lots of sunshine. A slow warm up is expected by the end of the week.
