Police seeking pair suspected in seven-robbery spree over several hours in Fort Worth

Police are seeking two persons suspected of committing seven robberies in a three-hour span throughout Fort Worth Monday.

The robberies occurred in central, south and northwest areas of the city, the Fort Worth Police Department said Wednesday afternoon in social-media threads accompanying posted surveillance footage of one of the incidents.

The footage, captured at a convenience store in the 700 block of Central Avenue, shows a male covered entirely in black approach the cashier with what appears to be a weapon as another person bundled in a pink hoodie holds open the entrance door.

Police described the two as being in their late teens or early 20s, saying they were last seen in a dark two-door sedan.

According to KXAS-TV (NBC5), the other locations involved were in the 100 block of Odessa Street, the 1800 block of Sylvania Avenue, the 2800 block of N.E. 28th Street, the 3500 block of Hemphill Street, the 3400 block of Gordon Avenue and the 800 block of West Northside Drive.
